The Sky Sox yearbook was always a unique challenge in that the interior editorial pages were printed in black and white to save costs. I achieved a unique effect by screening out portions of images on the page. This, all before transparency effects were incorporated into page layout software, so each image had to be manipulated individually and placed with absolute precision.
