design challenges
To highlight the Olympic year, images from previous U.S. Figure Skating teams and skaters were used for this cover. The challenge lied in creating a cohesive design using color and black and white photos together. Some of the older shots were out of focus, which added to the problem. The use of complementary colors to create a 'wash' effect, helped to bring this design together.
